JKSSB: Result Of Candidates For The Posts Of Junior Engineer, Civil, Jal Shakti Department

In a recent development, the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the result/scoresheet of candidates who appeared for the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Jal Shakti Department, UT Cadre.

This announcement comes following advertisement notification No. 05 of 2021, item no. 689.

The initial result and raw scores were issued earlier through Notification no. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/54/2022 03(7057013) dated 03-11-2023. The board had previously provided a formula for the normalization of scores, taking into account variations in the difficulty levels of question papers across different shifts.

The updated result/scoresheet is based on the normalized scores of candidates who took the CBT from 05-12-2022 to 06-12-2022 and is available as Annexure “A.”

It is important to note that merely being included in the result/scoresheet does not guarantee a candidate’s selection for document verification or placement in the select list. Candidates must meet all other eligibility criteria, and the final decision regarding selection rests with the Board.

Candidates falling within the consideration zone based on their merit will be called for document verification, and the schedule for this process will be separately notified by the JKSSB.

Reyaz Ahmad Malik (JKAS), Controller of Examinations at J&K Services Selection Board, issued this notification on 04-11-2023. The information has been shared with relevant government authorities and will also be published in leading local newspapers in Jammu and Kashmir.

For further details and updates, candidates are advised to visit the official JKSSB website at www.jkssb.nic.in
